Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 1-3 years of experience in general building maintenance or related field preferredBasic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry or general facility repair workA demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervisionStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of building systems, tools, and maintenance practicesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher), email, and internet applications.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyMust be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as neededAbility to pass a background checkValid driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordResponsibilitiesPerform general maintenance and repair tasks assigned, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and facility upkeepRespond promptly to work orders and maintenance requestsAssist with routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance or safety concernsSupport preventative maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning of building systemsAssist in setting up and breaking down spaces for operations, events, or program needsMaintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and equipmentFollow safety procedures and report hazards or major repair needs to the Lead Maintenance Technician immediatelyAssist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies as neededSupport outside contractors or vendors when they are on-siteComplete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standardsPhysical RequirementsQualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
