This role plays a key part in ensuring that our precision-machined products meet strict customer and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has strong inspection, CMM programming, and problem-solving skills.\r\nThis is anonsite positionat our Haverhill, MA facility.What Youll Do\r\nLead incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities; develop and maintain inspection plans and sampling methods.\r\nProgram and operate CMMs (PC-DMIS or Calypso) to inspect precision-machined parts; verify measurements and maintain calibration.\r\nInterpret blueprints and apply GD&T to validate dimensions, surface finishes, and tolerances.\r\nManage nonconforming material (NCMR/MRB) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) using structured root-cause tools.\r\nConduct internal ISO 9001 audits and support external or customer audits as needed.\r\nPartner with Engineering, Operations, and Suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.\r\nMaintain quality documentation (inspection records, control plans, FAIR/FAI) and support validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).\r\nAnalyze process data, monitor trends, and provide clear reports for management review.\r\nTrain and support team members on inspection methods and quality standards.\r\nThis description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.\r\nWhat Youll Bring\r\nRequired\r\nBachelors degree in engineering, Quality, or related field; or equivalent experience.\r\n3+ years in quality engineering or inspection in a precision machining environment.\r\nHands-on CMM programming and operation experience.\r\nStrong GD&T interpretation and blueprint reading skills.\r\nExperience with NCMR/MRB and CAPA processes.\r\nFamiliarity with internal auditing and ISO 9001 systems.\r\nStrong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.\r\nPreferred:\r\nExperience in the medical device industry (ISO 13485 / 21 CFR 820).\r\nExposure to PFMEA, PPAP, control plans, and process validation.\r\nLean/6? or Green Belt certification a plus.\r\nWhy Join PDF | An Evantic CompanyAt Evantic, we arepowered by peopleandtrusted by customers .
