Manufacturing Plant Manager

We are partnering with our client to find a hands-on Plant Operations Manager to lead the startup of a vehicle production facility. This role requires a proven leader who can drive team performance, cost control, quality initiatives, project management, and deliver results across safety, quality, cost, and delivery (SQCD).Key ResponsibilitiesLead startup of an entire manufacturing operation. Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and hourly teams to achieve operational targetsDrive a high-performance, accountable culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvementOversee daily manufacturing operations to meet SQCD goals and production schedulesPlan, assign, and supervise work in a fast-paced assembly/production environmentImplement and sustain Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiativesEnsure adherence to standardized work, SOPs, and quality systemsPartner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Maintenance to ensure production readinessQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field10–15 years of experience in manufacturing operations leadershipDemonstrated success with the startup and leading of large teams in high-volume manufacturing environmentsStrong background in automotive manufacturing, assembly, or similar industriesExperience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement toolsProficiency in ERP systems, production planning, and Microsoft ExcelAutomotive or rolling stock manufacturing experience a plusExperience managing production lines, plant operations, and KPI-driven environments
