Managed Cloud Delivery Intern
Managed Cloud Delivery (MCD) InternPosition Title: Managed Cloud Delivery InternReporting to: VP, Managed Cloud DeliveryPosition SummaryThe Managed Cloud Delivery Intern will support the delivery and ongoing management of cloud-based solutions across client environments. This role provides hands-on exposure to cloud operations, infrastructure support, service delivery processes, and client engagement. The intern will work closely with cloud engineers and delivery teams to assist in monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing cloud environments while gaining foundational experience in platforms such as AWS, Azure, and related tools. The ideal candidate is technically curious, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career in cloud engineering or managed services.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in monitoring cloud environments to ensure system performance, availability, and reliability.Support incident management and service request processes, including tracking, documentation, and follow-up.Help maintain and update cloud infrastructure components, including virtual machines, storage, and networking resources.Partner with delivery teams to support deployment activities and environment configurations.Assist in troubleshooting basic cloud and infrastructure issues under guidance from senior team members.Contribute to documentation of processes, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.Support security and compliance efforts, including access reviews and audit preparation tasks.Assist in tracking service delivery metrics and generating operational reports.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery efficiency and client satisfaction.Provide administrative and operational support for additional cloud delivery projects as needed.Other duties as assigned QualificationsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldStrong interest in cloud computing, infrastructure, or managed servicesBasic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google CloudFamiliarity with operating systems (Windows/Linux) and basic networking conceptsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced technical environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentAlignment with RTS Core Values
