Sr CyberSecurity Technologist

Our client is located in Northwest Houston and is looking to add a Sr Cybersecurity Technologist to their team on a PART-TIME basis (20 hours/week). This will be a contract for about 6 months with possible extension.Date Range: Jun 8 – Dec 4, 2026JOB DESCRIPTION:Proven experience managing critical network operations in a 24/7 high-availability environment.Ability to design and configure Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Global Protect and Panorama for centralized security management.Experience designing and implementing security policies, including NAT, Security Profiles, URL filtering, Threat Prevention, and SSL decryption.Skilled in deep packet analysis and log review using Wireshark and PAN-OS to perform root cause analysis and resolve complex network issues.7 years hands-on experience with Palo Alto technologies platform and configuration experience.
