Now Hiring: Communications Consultant – Account ManagerWe’re looking for a strategic and client-focused Communications Consultant (Account Manager) to lead the development and execution of integrated communications initiatives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring brand consistency, delivering impactful campaigns, and aligning communications strategies with business objectives.Position Summary:The Communications Consultant – Account Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end communications projects, including marketing and brand campaigns, product and service promotion, and multi-channel strategy execution. This individual serves as a trusted advisor to internal clients while ensuring all communications align with corporate strategy and brand standards.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary Account Manager and strategic advisor for Advertising, Brand, and Creative CommunicationsLead the development, execution, and evaluation of communications plans aligned with business goalsAct as the main point of contact for clients, managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverablesBuild and maintain strong client relationships through a deep understanding of business needs and objectivesCollaborate with Creative Services teams (copywriters, designers) to deliver high-quality, on-brand workPartner with digital communications teams to enhance online marketing channels and ensure process alignmentCoordinate across Corporate Communications stakeholders to ensure consistency and efficiencyProvide insights and reporting to support continuous improvement and performance evaluationSupport after-hours storm/crisis communications as a secondary Account Manager (1–2 months annually)Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or related field8+ years of account management experience in advertising, branding, or marketing communicationsStrong background in project management and communications analysisProven experience executing integrated, multi-channel campaigns (print, digital, video, social, radio, etc.)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)Experience with work management tools (e.g., Workamajig)Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships and provide strategic communications counselComfortable working in a highly matrixed, fast-paced environmentAbility to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple stakeholdersSelf-motivated with strong follow-through and attention to detailExperience aligning communications strategies with measurable business outcomesPreferred Qualifications:Experience in the energy industryFamiliarity with Kanban principles or workflow management methodologiesAdditional Information:Occasional overtime required to support special projects or crisis response (approximately 10–15% annually)
