As a Senior System Debug Engineer, you will drive failure analysis and debug efforts during our Mass Production (MP) phase. You'll collaborate with some of the hardest working minds in the industry to ensure the flawless manufacturing of datacenter GPU products. Your expertise in servers, systems, and board development will be necessary in understanding the intricate workings of our GPU datacenter products and ensuring their quality. This role offers the outstanding opportunity to work on innovative technology that will influence the future of datacenters.\n\nWhat You Will Be Doing\n\nPerform failure analysis (FA) on GPU baseboards and servers at rack, system, and/or component level (including from L6 to L11/rack level).\n\nAnalyze logs and failures that may span Hardware (HW), Software (SW), and Firmware (FW) and propose debug and mitigation strategies.\n\nBuild experiments and collect/analyze data for Failure Analysis root cause.\n\nEngage in Build for Test, Manufacturing (DFx) enabling efforts and deliver products according to schedule.\n\nProvide root cause and corrective action plans in a timely manner and write clear and complete reports detailing steps taken and findings.\n\nDevelop debug guides for partner teams and customers.\n\nCommunicate effectively with industry vendors, suppliers, internal and external engineers, factory personnel, and sales/marketing teams in the US and overseas.\n\nWhat We Need To See\n\n8+ years of working experience in a related field.\n\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).\n\nExcellent failure analysis or debug experience on motherboards, graphic cards, servers, PCs, or datacenter products.\n\nDemonstrated knowledge in enabling DFx requirements.\n\nProven understanding and strong skills in one or more areas: Hardware, Software, Component, Process, Test, Validation.\n\nStrong negotiation, organization, and time management skills.\n\nFamiliarity with sophisticated characterization equipment, including oscilloscopes and analyzers.\n\nProblem solving mentality\n\nAbility to work well in a team as well as independently.\n\nStrong ability to communicate clearly and work cohesively with partners.\n\nWidely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers, NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
