Other duties may be assigned.\nStuffs, hangs, and weighs sausage.\nApplies casing and bag over stuffing horn, clips bag and/or ties bag for different products.\nWeighs product on scales in tray or boxes and attaches label to boxes or package.\nPerform all duties accurately and efficiently.\nResponsible for housekeeping, cleanliness, and sanitary conditions within the department.\nFollow policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.\nReports any process or equipment problems to supervisor.\nAcquire and retain thorough knowledge of packaging processes and equipment.\nEnsure quality of products is maintained.\nVerifies correct label, weight, and date information on products that you are working with.\nWork safely under all conditions and procedures.\nReport work-related injuries and illnesses immediately to supervisor.\nEducation and/or work experience requirements:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
