Entry-Level Trailer Mechanic / Mobile Medical Trailer Repair Assistant Advanced Imaging Services | Lakeforest, CAAdvanced Imaging Services is looking for an Entry-Level Trailer Mechanic / Mobile Medical Trailer Repair Assistant to help support our fleet of mobile medical imaging trailers. These trailers are used to house MRI and CT systems for hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities, so keeping them safe, clean, functional, and road-ready is an important part of our operation.This is a good opportunity for someone who has basic mechanical experience, trailer experience, or general hands-on shop experience and wants to grow. We are not looking for a senior mechanic. We are looking for someone dependable, teachable, and comfortable helping with trailer repairs, inspections, and maintenance.What You’ll Help WithYou will work with our trailer team to inspect, maintain, and repair existing mobile medical trailers before they are sent out to customer sites or after they return from the field. Job duties may include:Assisting with trailer inspections before departure and after return.Helping with basic trailer repairs and maintenance.Checking tires, wheels, lugs, suspension, airbags, and general road-readiness.Assisting with ABS/brake connections, air lines, electrical lines, and trailer lighting.Testing brake lights, turn signals, hazards, marker lights, and clearance lights.Helping inspect and repair hydraulic legs, leveling jacks, lift gates, belly boxes, doors, roll-up doors, seals, locks, and exterior panels.Looking for signs of leaks, water intrusion, loose panels, damage, or other trailer issues.Checking power cables, plugs, connectors, and adapters for obvious damage.Helping secure cables, tools, accessories, chairs, computers, and loose equipment before transport.Assisting with cleanup, organization, parts movement, and general shop support.Taking photos and documenting any trailer issues found during inspection.Communicating issues to the lead mechanic or service team before a trailer is released.What We’re Looking ForWe are looking for someone reliable, hands-on, and willing to learn.Ideal qualifications:Some experience working with trailers, vehicles, equipment, construction, maintenance, or shop tools.Basic understanding of tires, lights, brakes, electrical connections, hydraulics, or general mechanical work.Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.Able to follow checklists and instructions carefully.Good attention to detail.Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded.Willing to learn from experienced mechanics and grow into the role.Able to lift, move, kneel, bend, and work around trailers and equipment.Valid driver’s license preferred.Experience with any of the following is a plus, but not required:Trailer maintenance or trailer repairABS or brake systemsHydraulic lift gates or leveling systemsElectrical troubleshootingTires and suspensionDoors, seals, panels, and leak repairsWelding or fabricationMobile trailers, RVs, box trucks, or fleet vehicles
