Job Description POSITION: Equipment Sales CoordinatorLOCATION: Capitol Heights, MDREPORT TO: Equipment Sales ManagerFLSA STATUS: Fulltime, ExemptSALARY: $50,000 - $65,000 annuallyOVERVIEWThe Equipment Sales Coordinator supports the sale of used cranes and heavy equipment by coordinating inspections, photography, listings, and customer communication. This role works closely with sales, operations, and third-party inspectors to ensure equipment is properly presented, marketed, and sold.This position is hands-on, detail-oriented, and customer-facing, with responsibility for keeping the used equipment sales process moving efficiently from listing through sale.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESUsed Equipment Sales SupportSupport the sale of used cranes and heavy equipmentCommunicate with customers regarding equipment availability, specifications, pricing, and inspectionsCoordinate customer inquiries and route qualified leads to sales leadership as neededAssist with sales documentation and transaction coordinationEquipment Inspections & PhotographySchedule and coordinate inspections of cranes and equipmentArrange for internal teams or third-party vendors to inspect, photograph, and document equipment conditionEnsure photos, inspection reports, and equipment details are accurate and completeTrack inspection status and follow up to keep timelines on scheduleListings & Marketing CoordinationPrepare and maintain equipment listings for internal use and external platformsEnsure accurate equipment descriptions, specifications, and photos are postedCoordinate updates to listings as equipment status changes (available, pending, sold)Internal CoordinationWork with operations and fleet teams to confirm:equipment availabilitylocation and accessreadiness for inspection or saleCoordinate logistics related to customer visits and inspectionsMaintain organized records related to used equipment sales activityCustomer & Process ManagementAct as a primary point of contact for customers during the used equipment sales processTrack opportunities, inspections, and sales activityEnsure timely follow-up and professional customer communicationQUALIFICATIONS2+ years of experience in sales coordination, administrative support, or customer service; industry experience in construction, heavy equipment, or transportation a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); experience with CRM systems preferred.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.Clear written and verbal communication abilities, with a customer-focused approach.Experience working with sales, operations, and third-party vendors
