This is an excellent opportunity for experienced injection molding professionals who thrive in a fast-paced production environment and enjoy troubleshooting, process optimization, and automation support.\n\nJob Summary\n\nThe Process Technician II is responsible for maximizing machine uptime on injection molding machines and automation equipment while ensuring quality standards and production goals are consistently achieved. This position works closely with production, engineering, quality, and technical support teams to maintain stable processes, reduce downtime, and support continuous improvement efforts.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPerform injection molding machine and automation equipment startups according to production schedules.\n\nComplete mold and material changes efficiently to minimize downtime.\n\nPull molds from storage racks and perform mold installations and removals.\n\nSetup, start, monitor, and troubleshoot injection molding machines and associated automation equipment.\n\nConduct process troubleshooting and part inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained.\n\nTroubleshoot, maintain, repair, replace, and test automation systems, components, and networks.\n\nPerform mold setups, start-ups, moisture content inspections, laser printing setup, and operation of auxiliary equipment.\n\nWork with Process Technicians, Material Handlers, Production Leads, and Quality teams to maintain process stability and product quality.\n\nSupport conventional and dual-injection molding machine operations.\n\nProgram and troubleshoot robotic systems and automation equipment.\n\nFollow all safety, housekeeping, and quality procedures.\n\nReport quality concerns, equipment issues, hazards, and scrap concerns promptly to leadership.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nAssociate degree or technical certificate in:\n\nScientific Injection Molding\n\nIndustrial Automation\n\nRobotics\n\nPLC Technology\n\nOr equivalent technical training and experience\n\nMinimum 2 years of experience as a Process Technician or equivalent role in the plastic injection molding industry.\n\nMinimum 1 year of experience programming and troubleshooting multi-axis robots.\n\nRJG training or certification.\n\nAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.\n\nStrong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience operating computers and manufacturing software systems.\n\nKnowledge of injection molding processes in a production environment.\n\nUnderstanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost-effective manufacturing practices.\n\nExperience with:\n\nArburg touch-screen injection molding machines\n\nDual-injection molding machines\n\nSepro robots\n\nABB Yumi robots\n\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills.\n\nWhy Join?\n\nWork for a globally recognized eyewear and innovation leader.\n\nCollaborative manufacturing environment focused on quality and continuous improvement.\n\nOpportunities for technical growth and development.\n\nCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package.\n\nApply Today\n\nIf you have a passion for injection molding, automation, robotics, and process improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
