The care model emphasizes collaboration, continuity, and timely access to care for patients with both acute and ongoing health needs.Position SummaryThe facility is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician to join its expanding specialty team in Bronx, New York. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available.This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, multi-specialty environment with strong referral support from internal primary care providers. The physician will focus on diagnosing and managing disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and biliary system, while contributing to a patient-centered, evidence-based care model.Flexible scheduling options are available to support work-life balance.Essential Position ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive outpatient gastroenterology services.Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions including GERD, IBD, IBS, liver disease, and colorectal disorders.Perform endoscopic procedures such as upper endoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy.Interpret diagnostic studies and develop individualized treatment plans.Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure coordinated care.Educate patients on digestive health, preventive screening, and lifestyle modifications.Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary meetings.QualificationsEducation: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.Licensure: Active or eligible medical license in New York.Experience: Prior clinical experience in gastroenterology preferred; fellows completing training are encouraged to apply.Compensation and BenefitsHighly competitive compensation commensurate with experience.Flexible part-time and full-time scheduling options.Comprehensive benefits package for full-time physicians including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and paid time off.Malpractice coverage provided.Supportive, mission-driven organization that values collaboration, clinical excellence, and work-life balance.Opportunities for ongoing professional growth and continuing education.
