This position is located in Kettering, OH.\nJob Responsibilities/Duties:\nKnowledge of principles, policies, and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force.\nKnowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs.\nKnowledge of support activities that assist the program manager in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines, and be able to recommend viable solutions to problems, as well as the pursuit of alternative courses of action.\nAbility to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation, e.g., briefings, documents, and plans.\nAbility to plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment.\nAbility to formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives.\nAbility to support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports, e.g., Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) or Monthly Activity Report (MAR).\nAbilities to support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and Integrated Master Plan (IMP)/Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) reviews.\nAbility to support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequired Experience:\nAdvanced Degree (MA/MS) in Business Administration, Management Information Systems or other relevant discipline and 10 years of experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD, OR,\nBA/BS Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems or other relevant discipline and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD, OR,\n15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, 8 of which must be in the DoD.\nMust be proficient with MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Outlook, etc.).\nMust be familiar with using MS Teams and MS SharePoint for project collaboration.\nMust have experience with managing the Air Force Risk Management process in support of the acquisition process.\nMust have a working understanding of Agile Development.\nFamiliarity with Atlassian Tools: Jira and Confluence.\nPrior experience with DoD Acquisition programs under DoD 5000.02 or 5000.75 policy is required.\nMust possess advanced knowledge, experience, and recognized ability to be considered highly skilled in their technical/professional field.\nMust possess the ability to perform tasks independently and oversee the efforts of junior and journeyman contractor personnel within the technical/professional discipline.\nMust demonstrate advanced knowledge of their technical/professional discipline as well as possess a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices in their area of expertise (Program Office, Enterprise, and Staff Level Support interface).\nMust be a US Citizen and have/able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.\nMust be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
