Shine Micro, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Assembler to work in a fast-paced team environment at our Port Ludlow office; located on the Olympic Peninsula between Kingston and Port Townsend. The job involves assembling printed circuit boards, cables, electronic components, sub-assemblies, and systems using a variety of materials, tools and documentation. Experience working under ISO9001 and AS9100 or similar working practices and procedures is highly desirable. On-the-job training is provided and this position has the potential for growth.Essential DutiesAssemble surface-mount and through-hole components to IPC standards with various soldering tools, including under a microscopeAssemble PCBAs into sub-assemblies and systemsFollow documented assembly and work proceduresRemove and replace SMT and through-hole electronic componentsFollow ISO 9001 quality system and common industry workmanship standardsFollow proper Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures at all timesPerform job in accordance with proper material handling procedures and guidelinesOther duties as assignedOvertime may be occasionally requiredQualificationsMinimum 1 year soldering experience preferredAbility to read and interpret assembly drawings, procedures, and bills of materialElectronic component identification skillsBasic computer skills including MS Word and ExcelGood written and verbal communication skillsPositive attitude, motivation and ability to learn new processesDetail oriented, ability to handle multiple tasks, good time management, team playerAdditional Knowledge And Skills (Desired, Not Required)Lean Manufacturing – Continuous ImprovementAdvanced soldering certificates or equivalent experiencePotential Growth OpportunitiesRF Test TechnicianBuild and rework prototypes for EngineeringShipping and ReceivingIncoming InspectionCreation and Organization of Production Records and Process DocumentationInventory ManagementShine Micro is an equal opportunity employer.
