The platform fosters engagement through content submission, voting, and commenting.About the OpportunityThe Software Engineer, PDP Experience is responsible for driving technical and product strategy, development, and execution for one of the platform’s highest-traffic experiences: the Comments page. This role focuses on creating an intuitive, engaging, and high-quality user experience while contributing to the platform’s core conversational features.Responsibilities• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to implement product and business strategies.• Manage the full development lifecycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.• Review code and design documents and provide feedback on product specifications and mockups.• Contribute to team strategy, planning, and technical decision-making.• Help define engineering standards and best practices that improve developer workflows.• Balance rapid product development with high standards for reliability, scalability, and code quality.• Continuously develop technical and non-technical skills to support team and organizational goals.Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience with large-scale distributed systems.• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Go, Python, Rust, or Ruby.• Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift, or gRPC, including API design and implementation.• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.• Self-directed, innovative, and comfortable working with an entrepreneurial mindset in a fast-paced environment.• Effective communication skills for collaborating with fully remote teams and diverse stakeholders.Pay Range and Compensation Package• Base salary range: $164,000–$229,000 USD.• Eligible for equity compensation in the form of restricted stock units.• May be eligible for commission depending on the position.Benefits & Perks• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.• 401(k) plan with employer match.• Global benefits supporting professional development, caregiving, and workspace needs.• Family planning and gender-affirming care.• Mental health and coaching support.• Flexible vacation and paid volunteer time off.• Generous paid parental leave.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
