This individual should be comfortable working across multiple entities and currencies and have the financial acumen to support financial analysis, forecasting, and key business metrics.\n\nWe are looking for a modern, technology-oriented finance professional who combines strong accounting fundamentals with a continuous-improvement mindset and an interest in using systems, automation, and AI to build a more scalable finance organization.\n\nThis is a hands-on role. The successful candidate will be comfortable moving between reviewing consolidated financial results, resolving technical accounting matters, managing the close, developing team members, improving processes, and working directly in the underlying details when necessar\n\nResponsibilities and Duties\n\nAccounting & Financial Reporting\n\nLead day-to-day accounting operations and support a timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close.\n\nPrepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.\n\nOversee accounting across multiple legal entities, business units, and currencies.\n\nManage multi-entity consolidation and foreign currency accounting, including transaction remeasurement, balance sheet translation, intercompany activity, and related foreign exchange gains and losses.\n\nOversee and review balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and other close activities.\n\nOversee revenue recognition, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other core accounting functions.\n\nSupport appropriate accounting treatment and documentation for new, unusual, or complex business transactions.\n\nMaintain and continuously improve the Company's chart of accounts, accounting policies, close procedures, and financial reporting processes.\n\nSupport annual audit and tax activities and work directly with external auditors, tax professionals, and other advisors.\n\nHelp maintain and strengthen an effective internal control environment appropriate for a growing organization.\n\nEnsure financial reporting is accurate, consistent, appropriately documented, and delivered on a timely basis.\n\nLeadership & Team Development\n\nProvide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and development to members of the accounting and finance team.\n\nEstablish clear ownership, accountability, and performance expectations.\n\nReview the work of team members while remaining willing to work directly in the details when necessary.\n\nHelp develop team capabilities and create opportunities for professional growth.\n\nBuild scalable processes while maintaining the flexibility required in a fast-paced organization.\n\nPartner effectively with Sales, Operations, HR, Technology, and other business functions.\n\nFoster a culture of accuracy, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\n\nFinancial Planning & Business Analytics\n\nPartner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.\n\nSupport FP&A analyses, including budget-to-actual reporting, variance analysis, revenue and margin analysis, and operating expense management.\n\nHelp develop, maintain, and monitor key financial and operating metrics.\n\nAssist in translating financial results into meaningful insights for senior leadership.\n\nIdentify financial trends, risks, and opportunities and proactively communicate findings to the CFO.\n\nSupport scenario modeling and analyses related to strategic and operational business decisions.\n\nHelp ensure consistency between accounting results, management reporting, forecasts, and operating metrics.\n\nDevelop a strong understanding of the underlying drivers of the business rather than focusing solely on historical accounting results.\n\nSystems, Processes & Scalability\n\nContinuously improve financial processes, systems, automation, and reporting.\n\nHelp ensure the finance infrastructure can support increasing transaction volume, geographic expansion, new products, and organizational growth.\n\nIdentify opportunities to reduce manual processes, improve data quality, strengthen controls, and increase efficiency.\n\nEvaluate opportunities to utilize AI-enabled tools and automation to improve finance and accounting efficiency, accuracy, reporting, and insight.\n\nParticipate in and potentially lead ERP implementation, optimization, integration, and enhancement projects.\n\nPartner with internal teams and external providers on financial system architecture, data flows, and integrations.\n\nImprove the availability, consistency, and reliability of financial and operational data.\n\nHelp establish scalable financial policies and procedures without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.\n\nQualifications\n\n7–10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including meaningful experience in a senior accounting, accounting manager, or Assistant Controller-level role.\n\nCPA preferred.\n\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n\nDemonstrated experience with multi-entity consolidation and foreign currency accounting.\n\nExperience working in a startup, high-growth, or similarly fast-paced environment.\n\nProven experience leading, developing, and managing accounting or finance team members.\n\nExperience managing or playing a significant leadership role in the monthly close and consolidated financial reporting process.\n\nStrong understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, and accounting policies.\n\nAbility to support and contribute to FP&A, financial metrics, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.\n\nStrong Excel, financial systems, and data-analysis capabilities.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.\n\nHighly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines.\n\nDemonstrated ability to identify problems, develop practical solutions, and drive projects through completion.\n\nA hands-on mindset and willingness to work directly in the details when necessary.\n\nProfessional Competencies\n\nExperience with multi-entity consolidations, intercompany accounting, FX remeasurement and translation, and international operations\n\nStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and demonstrated technical accounting capabilities\n\nProven ability to lead, coach, develop, and hold accounting team members accountable\n\nAbility to move beyond accounting results and understand variance analysis, margins, forecasts, KPIs, and underlying business drivers.\n\nStrong ERP capabilities and willingness to use automation, integrations, data tools, and AI to improve Finance.\n\nCultural
