You will be responsible to build and deploy state of the art deep learning models onto the Ambarella SoC.\nResponsibilities:\nPyTorch and AI Expertise:\nTrain model for quantization and pruning. Understand how backpropagation of training.\nAble to verify models for accuracy.\nAble to modify pytorch code to model Ambarella SoC.\nCreate scripts and utilities for data preprocessing, model training, validation and inference.\nStay up-to date with new and emerging model architectures and integrate them into the model garden.\nPerformance Analysis and Optimization:\nProfile and analyze the performance of PyTorch on target hardware.\nIdentify and address performance bottlenecks. Verify performance for speed and memory bandwidth.\nDevelop and implement optimization techniques to improve training and inference speed.\nModel Garden:\nWork closely with developers and users of model garden to help troubleshoot issues related to using the models.\nDevelop comprehensive tutorials and examples to use model garden effectively.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nBS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.\nDeveloping or using deep learning frameworks (e.g., Tensorflow, PyTorch).\nKnowledge of ML lifecycle – data preprocessing, training, deployment and inference,\ndeep learning and its applications to computer vision (e.g., classification, object detection, and segmentation);\nExperience with specific hardware architectures (e.g., NVIDIA GPUs, custom ASICs).\nStrong C/C++ and Python programming skills.\nModern software development methodologies: source control, code review, unit testing, and peer reviews.\nTeam player with strong communication skills.\nPreferred:\nMS in Computer Science or related fields.\nIndustry experience in related field.\nFamiliarity with compression techniques like QAT, pruning (nice to have)\nContainerization techniques like docker\nDeep understanding of hardware architectures, including GPUs, ASICs, and other accelerators.\nThe base salary range is $161,000 - $182,000. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to convert to a full-time regular position.
