They can handle most of the technical aspects of assigned captive(s).\n\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\n\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalency in a related discipline\nMinimum of five (5) years of experience in the insurance industry or experience relevant to the role\n\nSKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:\n\nTeam-based skills\nCollaboration – communicating effectively with Captive Executive & Business Development Executive team to assure alignment on new business and renewal activities\nInformation system skills\nStrong technical aptitude including a high proficiency in Microsoft Office\nUnderstand company required information systems\nIndividual skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to assess their understanding of technical topics and seek appropriate support for deeper understanding\nVisible support and commitment to a positive business culture\nComfortable with presenting technical information in one-on-one conversations as well as larger group settings\nCommitment to company values\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The PM may execute some or all the duties outlined in the APM role. In addition, responsibilities include:\n\nDemonstrate an understanding of the captive program formula and risk sharing allocation\nOversee and/or prepare and submit documentation to underwrite renewal business, new business, board book and captive reviews\nAccountable to ensure all documentation for captive program is up to date and aligned with Board of Directors directives (proposals, slide shows, renewal books, etc.)\nOversee day-to-day operations of the assigned captive(s) at the Captive Executives’ direction including oversight of work prepared by the Associate PM\nAddress any past due premium collections and any unreconciled matters from the premium reconciliation with captive domicile manager\nAssist in the development of other program management team members by sharing captive and technical knowledge\nAssist with special projects\nComfortable engaging one-on-one with members and brokers to discuss captive program details\nAbility to present captive program details in a group setting\n\nTRAVEL: Domestic and International travel may be required.
