Operations Supervisor

Managing and overseeing daily operations within the department Meeting customer and company KPI's and SLA's on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis Facilitating effective Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis as needed Training, monitoring, evaluating, supervising and disciplining employees based on goals and duties Verifying employee time/payroll information and authorize overtime Assisting in managing department workforce, reinforcing company policy and procedure and establishing and maintaining healthy working relationship across the organization Showing initiative and making suggestions for improving processes Assisting with planning and budget process Working in a fast paced environment handling multiple tasks with complex deadlines Communicating with customers, vendors and employees Coordinating with other departments within the company Overseeing all LTL/Drayage operations Ensuring that all customer IRG requirements are met Able to make quick and precise decisions Work well with high number of seasonal temporary employees Must have experience in working with drivers. Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience 3+ years Supervision of associates Previous production & manufacturing experience 2+ years of LTL experience in inbound/outbound & dispatching Knowledge of Excel, Word, Office Strong written/oral communications kills Problem solving capabilities. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must demonstrate ownership & responsibility to run the operation with a sense of urgency.
