Hotel Front Desk

Position Title: Front Desk Agent Hotel: Holiday Inn Express Mt. Pleasant – Scottdale, PA Pay: From $12.00 per hour About the Role: Holiday Inn Express Mt. Pleasant – Scottdale is seeking friendly, reliable, and professional Front Desk Agents to join our team. The ideal candidate has previous hotel experience—preferably with a major brand such as IHG, Hilton, or Marriott—and enjoys creating a positive and welcoming experience for every guest. We are specifically looking for candidates available to work 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. and 3 p.m. – 11 p.m. shifts, including weekends and holidays. Key Responsibilities: Welcome guests, handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately. Manage reservations and guest inquiries by phone, email, and in person. Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions. Verify payment methods and process transactions correctly. Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for arrivals. Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Maintain the Front Desk area’s cleanliness and organization. Use computers confidently for data entry, reporting, and guest communications. Qualifications: Previous hotel or Front Desk experience preferred. Experience with hotel PMS systems (especially Opera) is an asset, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable using computers and learning hotel systems. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Must be available to work all days, weekends, and holidays.
