Discover more by following us on LinkedIn!\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nGENERAL FUNCTION\nThe Process Technician III is a senior-level role responsible for leading a team of process technicians to ensure the efficient operation of machines and automation equipment. This role focuses on maximizing machine uptime, maintaining quality standards, and achieving production goals. The technician will coordinate resources, support process improvements, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure compliance with safety procedures while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.\nMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead and coordinate the activities of process technicians to optimize equipment performance and meet production goals.\nSupport production supervisors in resource planning and allocation to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.\nEnsure timely execution of preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and proper documentation through MES systems.\nOrganize and oversee machine and material changes, ensuring alignment with KPIs for efficiency and quality.\nPerform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on machines, automation equipment, and auxiliary systems.\nProgram, set up, and optimize multi-axis robots (e.g., Sepro, YUMI), various machines, and related automation equipment.\nDrive process improvements, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to maintain product quality.\nCollaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to support equipment upgrades, new product introductions, and process optimization.\nEnsure compliance with all safety protocols, maintain a clean work environment, and promote a culture of safety and accountability.\nProvide training and mentorship to junior technicians, ensuring technical growth and process consistency across the team.\n\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\n4+ years of experience in the plastic injection molding industry as a Process Technician.\n2+ years of experience in programming and troubleshooting multi-axis robots and automation systems.\nStrong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using various hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and troubleshooting techniques.\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and process documentation.\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).\nEffective communication skills in English to ensure adherence to procedures and specifications.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nAssociate’s degree in Applied Science, Scientific Injection Molding, Industrial Automation, Robotics, or related field.\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.\nRJG Scientific Injection Molding training or certification.\nCNC machining knowledge or certification.\nExperience with Arburg touch screen injection molding machines and dual injection molding machines.\nStrong knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost optimization techniques.\nLean Manufacturing knowledge, including 5S, continuous improvement, and waste reduction methodologies.\nExperience in programming Sepro and YUMI Robots.\nExcellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.\nBilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.\nPay Range: 33.98 - 49.32\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business.
