Join our team of professionals dedicated to the development and commercialization of nucleic acid therapeutics for life changing, lifesaving medicines.\nKey responsibilities include:\nActively involved in the manufacturing of oligonucleotide APIs in a GMP environment.\nActively involved in aspects of technology transfer and scale-up of oligonucleotide manufacturing processes delivered from Manufacturing Technical Services into Manufacturing.\nWrite and revise standard operating procedures according to regulatory and procedural guidelines.\nWork with Validation and Engineering personnel to validate new equipment and facilities.\nWork with Manufacturing Management and Quality to resolve manufacturing problems including drafting quality documentation (CAPA, deviation, change control, etc.).\nMaintain, calibrate, and trouble shoot critical process equipment.\nSHIFT HOURS: Friday-Sunday 4:30am to 5:30 pm\nQualifications\nBS in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, science or equivalent or equivalent combination of education and or experience preferred but not required\n1+ years of related experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred but not required\nPrevious knowledge of oligonucleotide synthesis, purification, UF, conjugation, and lyophilization is advantageous\nDetail oriented and can perform technical duties following standard operating procedures and general laboratory safety rules\nAbility to work both independently and in a team setting on a variety of projects and use individual discretion to meet required project objectives and deadlines\nExcellent math, documentation, communication and operational trouble shooting skills\nMechanically inclined\nAbility to work as a successful member of a team working to establish priorities, scheduling, and procedures that collectively will meet department goals and project deadlines\nAbility to work in a clean room environment\nPrevious experience in a FDA regulated manufacturing environment highly desired\nAdditional Details\nThis job has a full time weekly schedule.
