The ideal candidate will have strong core data science expertise with hands-on experience in building, deploying, and maintaining data-driven solutions. Candidates with additional full stack development experience will be considered a strong plus, as the role involves close collaboration with engineering teams to deliver end-to-end analytical products.Key Responsibilities:Analyze large and complex datasets to extract actionable insights and support business decision-making.Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and statistical solutions.Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation using best practices.Build and deploy scalable data science solutions into production environments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.Develop data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings effectively.Contribute to end-to-end solution development, including backend APIs or frontend interfaces (if full stack experience is available).Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, AI/ML, and software development technologies.Required QualificationsBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.Strong experience in Python or R for data analysis and machine learning.Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).Proficiency in SQL and working with large datasets.Strong understanding of statistics, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques.Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred.Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)Full stack development experience (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, Java, or similar technologies).Experience building APIs or deploying ML models into production environments.Familiarity with DevOps practices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), or MLOps frameworks.Why BCforward?At BCforward, we believe in advancing lives and careers.
