The ideal candidate designs electrical systems and is also willing to assist with physical wiring and build activities in prototype and production environments when needed.\nThis position is not focused on PLC or HMI programming.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nDesign and develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams\nDesign wire harnesses and cable assemblies, including wire lists and documentation\nPerform electrical system and power distribution design, including VFD-based systems\nSelect, size, and apply electrical components including compressors, blowers, fans, power supplies, transformers, breakers, contactors, relays, and PCBs\nAssist with hands-on wiring and assembly of electrical systems during prototype and production builds as required\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues in complex systems\nWork closely with mechanical engineers to support electrical enclosure layouts (3D experience a plus)\nCreate and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) using ERP systems (SAP preferred)\nUse Product Data Management (PDM/PLM) systems for revision control (SolidWorks EPDM preferred)\nSupport testing, validation, and continuous improvement of electrical designs\nFollow standard engineering project management practices\nProactively identify and mitigate technical risks\nAdhere to all quality and safety standards\nCollaborate professionally with cross-functional teams\nSupport additional engineering projects as assigned\nEducation, Experience & Skills\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required\n3–7 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience\nStrong experience with:\nElectrical schematics and wiring diagrams\nWire harness and cable assembly design\nPower distribution and control systems\nProficiency with 2D CAD tools (AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical preferred)\nExperience working in prototype and production environments\nFamiliarity with analogue and digital electrical circuits\nExperience with electrical component selection and panel wiring\nExposure to ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred)\nExposure to PDM/PLM tools (SolidWorks EPDM preferred)\nStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office\nHigh attention to detail and quality orientation\nITAR Requirement\nThis position requires access to export-controlled technical data and technology.
