Report deviations and support preventative measures and corrective actions analysis to deliver the highest quality product to customers.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nPerform visual and technical inspection of all parts and assemblies produced ensuring they meet all blueprint, quality, and customer requirements.\nRead and comprehend blueprints and technical specifications to support inspection activities that ensure products and operations meet applicable standards.\nUse devices such as micrometers and thread gauges to measure products and determine conformance to designs.\nDocument and relay nonconformance information.\nCreate and adjust inspection plans as required.\nReview and audit technical records and certifications to assure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.\nActively participate in performance improvement teams.\nEnsure that good safety practices are known and followed by all employees.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nOther Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nAbility to type and use a computer\nAbility to use and present information by use of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook or related programs\nGeneral knowledge of drawing/data systems and configuration management principles and processes\nWorking knowledge of inspection tools such as micrometer or calipers preferred\nFamiliarity with AS9100, ISO 9001 or similar quality standard\nRequirements:\nEducation / Experience Requirements: High school diploma or GED and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.\nOther Qualifications:\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
