As such, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace that welcomes candidates from all backgrounds and experience levels.\n\nPURPOSE\n\nPlans, directs, implements, and oversees human resources policies and activities such as employment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and communications for facilities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.\n\nThis position may also involve HR managers of specific functions of HR (EEO/AAP, Training, Benefits, etc.).\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nAdministers human resources policies to meet organizational needs and comply with state and federal laws.\nImplements communications systems to ensure all locations have access to information in a timely manner.\nProvides guidelines and oversees management of human resources activities such as recruitment, performance review, benefits, and employee relations, and resolves problems requiring senior management intervention.\nEnsures group compliance with affirmative action activities and demonstrates measurable progress toward accomplishment of affirmative action goals.\nResponsible for ensuring development of females, minorities, disabled employees, and veterans for promotional consideration and prevents harassment of employees placed through the affirmative action efforts.\nRepresents management in negotiating collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.\nConducts regularly scheduled meetings with human resources staff to exchange information and provide ongoing support and problem resolution.\nAnalyzes trends at each facility in turnover, hiring, promotions, separations, and grievances to determine support or action needed to adjust unfavorable trends.\nSchedules training at each location in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, sexual harassment, and diversity awareness.\nAdvises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.\nResponds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.\nOther duties may be assigned.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nMay supervise others.\n\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\n\nBachelor's degree (B.
