The primary responsibility will be to perform accurate and timely data entry tasks, inventory, maintaining and updating records across various systems. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in data entry software are crucial for success in this role. Data Coordinator will collaborate with Hatchery staff and external customers to ensure seamless operation and accurate data information. All Company information will be handled with complete confidentiality.\n\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nManage all hatchery production data in the MTech system, including data entry, updates, reporting, troubleshooting, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.\nGenerate and distribute accurate MTech reports to our partners and customers in a timely manner.\nAssist with MTech setup and configuration for new processes, reports, and workflows.\nSupervise the Egg Room Technician to ensure eggs are properly racked and the cooler is clean and maintained under appropriate environmental conditions.\nCreate bills of lading for egg deliveries.\nOrganize, scan, and electronically file production documentation.\nConduct weekly egg inventories by 9:00 a.m. every Monday.\nPrepare customers’ day projections based on candling fertility results.\nPerform monthly egg and poult audits for insurance requirements.\nProvide support to other hatchery departments as needed.\nComply with all company policies regarding biosecurity, animal welfare, safety, and operational procedures.\nEnsure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and within required timelines.\nRegularly monitor and respond to company email communications, including directives and requests from HR and hatchery management.\nCollaborate effectively with the hatchery team to achieve company goals and objectives.\nMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.\nEnsure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements related to hatchery operations, inventory management, and data reporting.\nMaintain accurate documentation and records to support internal audits, regulatory inspections, insurance audits, and company standards.\nPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Hatchery Manager or as required to meet business needs.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have the following educational and experience background:\nPrevious administrative experience preferred.\nHigh School Diploma\nFamiliarity with computer software such as MS Office Suite, Enterprise Resource Planning Systems\nProficiency in Excel (Creating filters, taking averages, summing up a column)\nKnowledge of basic mathematics and statistics (Percentages are critical)\nDatabase entry and ability to balance numbers.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills\nAbility to prioritize and meet deadlines.\nAbility to work independently.\nAbility to effectively respond to questions, concerns, or needs from employees at all organizational levels.\nBilingual in Spanish – English preferred.\nMotor Vehicle Register required.\nValid driver’s license required.\nSchedule:\nCore business hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.\nHolidays and weekends as needed\n\nWho We Are:\nHeadstart Hatching is the first turkey hatchery in the world to hatch commercial poults with immediate access to feed and water from the moment the hatchling leaves the egg and throughout their stay from hatch to the farm.
