In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our oil and gas facilities.\n\nLocation\nThis is a hybrid position based out of our Morgantown, West Virginia office. You will be expected to work in the office three days a week. Additionally, this role requires a hands‑on presence where the action happens. Candidates must be able and willing to travel to field sites up to ~40% of the time to maintain a consistent field presence, provide support for field operations, and bridge the gap between corporate engineering design and field execution.\n\nWhat You Will Be Doing:\n\nProvide technical expertise for the design, modification, and maintenance of oil and gas production facilities.\n\nPerform engineering calculations, analyses, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve operational issues.\n\nDevelop and review engineering drawings and specifications.\n\nSupport project teams with technical expertise during facility construction, commissioning, and turnaround activities.\n\nOversee project budget, schedule, and provide update reports to key members of management.\n\nManage and participate in facility inspections, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and industry standards.\n\nCollaborate with cross‑functional teams including operations, maintenance, and procurement to optimize facility performance.\n\nMaintain a strong understanding of industry best practices and regulations and stay up to date with new technologies.\n\nYour Background:\n\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Civil, or a related engineering discipline.\n\nMinimum 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.\n\nProven experience in facilities engineering, design, or maintenance for wet gas and condensate systems.\n\nWorking knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards (e.g., API, ASME, DPT, PHMSA).\n\nProficiency in AutoCAD, ProMax or similar engineering design software.\n\nExcellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\n\nAbility to meet specific deadlines based on department needs and work with minimal supervision.\n\nMust be detail oriented with strong analytical and communication skills and have the ability to multi‑task and effectively prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.\n\nExtremely team‑oriented with strong oral and written skills to convey information clearly and persuasively.\n\nPhysical and Other Requirements\n\nResults‑oriented with a sense of urgency.\n\nMust be able to perform light work – exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.\n\nSee, hear, talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel, sit, stand, walk, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.\n\nAble to operate standard office/computer equipment.\n\nInfinity Natural Resources is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
