It will be a gathering place where coffee turns into lunch, aperitivo into dinner, and the room fills as the day unfolds. Lucania becomes a place you can return to at any hour and find it alive, adding a sense of energy and gathering the Ferry Building has not consistently held.\nWe are seeking experienced Servers with an innate sense of true hospitality and a genuine love of food and wine. In addition to our authentic Southern Italian menu, we take pride in a wine program rooted in Southern Italy. We're looking for people who are excited to guide our guests through a unique experience and keep growing their own knowledge over time.\nPay Range: $19.61 plus tips.\nWhat You'll Do\nCreate a warm, welcoming experience for every guest\nGuide guests through wine and cocktail selections and food-and-wine/cocktail pairings\nSupport a smooth, thoughtful flow of service across the dining room and patio\nBuild and continually deepen knowledge of the menu and wine and cocktail program\nWork as a team to deliver an inviting, consistent, high-quality experience\nWhat We're Looking For\nPrevious experience as a server in a fine-dining or high-volume restaurant\nA genuine passion for hospitality, connecting with and taking care of people\nStrong interest in food and wine, with a desire to learn and grow\nStrong communication skills and attention to detail\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment\nDetails\nNights, weekends, and peak season availability required\nNo PTO granted from Thanksgiving week through the week following New Year's\nPosition requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs\nFamiliarity with the Toast POS system is a plus\nA current Food Handlers Certification is required\nA current Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification is required\nOther Duties\nPlease note that this job description is not designed to cover or list all activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
