The Technical Program Manager plays a critical role in advancing innovative solutions by managing schedules, budgets, risks, and contractual requirements in support of organizational goals.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage complex technical and engineering projects from initial planning through execution, completion, and verification.\nCoordinate project resources, timelines, activities, and milestones to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget.\nMonitor project performance, budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators while identifying and mitigating potential risks.\nOversee project plans, schedules, scope, quality standards, and cost objectives to ensure successful outcomes.\nConduct regular project reviews and provide updates regarding project status, risks, financial performance, and overall progress.\nPrepare and present project reports, metrics, recommendations, and status updates to leadership and stakeholders.\nServe as the primary point of contact for project partners, vendors, and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.\nSupport compliance with contractual requirements, funding agreements, reporting obligations, and project documentation standards.\nDevelop and improve project management processes, tools, templates, and best practices to improve program execution.\nCollaborate with engineering, technical, business, and operational teams to achieve program objectives.\nMinimum Education & Experience Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related technical field required.\nEquivalent combination of education, technical experience, and demonstrated program management experience may be considered.\nMinimum of five years of experience managing complex technical, engineering, manufacturing, or technology-focused programs.\nExperience managing multiple projects, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder groups in a dynamic environment.\nExperience working with cross-functional teams and external partners.\nSpecial Requirements:\nProject Management Professional (PMP), PMI certification, or equivalent project management certification preferred.\nU.S. Citizenship required.\nExperience supporting government-funded programs, research initiatives, or contractual projects preferred.\nAbility to work onsite periodically at a regional office location as required.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nStrong understanding of technical program management principles, project planning, and execution methodologies.\nAbility to manage complex projects involving engineering, technology development, and manufacturing initiatives.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and performance metrics.\nAbility to develop reports, presentations, and documentation for leadership and external stakeholders.\nProficiency with project management tools, reporting systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and collaboration platforms.\nAbility to build relationships and foster collaboration among industry, academic, government, and technology partners.\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues, recommend solutions, and drive projects toward completion.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Science, or a related technical field;
