You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable back-end architectures, RESTful APIs, and data models, while supporting system integrations and process improvements.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide subject matter expertise in support of Air Force software development tasks.\nAnalyze, plan, and develop requirements documents and functional architectures.\nDesign and implement back-end architectures to support new and existing system capabilities.\nDevelop and maintain RESTful APIs and manage relational databases.\nOptimize data models and support integration of data across classification levels.\nConduct and document system tests to ensure compliance with project standards.\nCollaborate in Agile development environments and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.\nSupport DevSecOps practices and integrate with DoD-compliant toolchains.\nRequirements:\nRequired Qualifications:\n7+ years of experience in software development and engineering.\nBachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s may substitute for 2 years of experience).\nActive secret or interim clearance\nProficiency in object-oriented and scripted languages.\nExperience with DevSecOps, microservices, and containerization.\n3+ years of experience with:\nBug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)\nTesting web-based applications\nBack-end web design and development\n5+ years of experience with:\nJenkins and GitLab\nAt least five of the following tools: NPM, Cypress.io, esbuild, Bun, Apache Tomcat, Maven, SonarQube\nDemonstrated experience with:\nRelational databases and RESTful API development\nAWS Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and RedHat Linux\nCloud-based development and secure data integration\nDesired Qualifications:\nTS clearance is preferred\nExperience with Agile Test-Driven Development (TDD)\nFamiliarity with DoD DevSecOps environments\n5+ years of experience with CI/CD software development\nDevSecOps experience with at least five of the following tools:\nGitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, JUnit5, Ansible, esbuild\nPlateau does not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters without a signed third-party agreement.
