This position is primarily remote and will require support out of one of the following Dark Wolf Hubs - Herndon, VA; Tampa, FL; San Antonio, TX; Colorado Springs, CO; Ogden, UT; or Omaha, NE. Key responsibilities include:\n\nDirect the technical and operational effectiveness of cyber defense capabilities in close coordination with COTR and Sponsor Staff management.\nDeliver strategic recommendations to continually refine architectures, processes, incident handling, and the overall reporting lifecycle.\nEnsure the operational readiness and effectiveness of Agency IT systems, network defenses, and situational awareness reporting.\nManage comprehensive incident response operations and deliver actionable, high-impact analytical products.\nMaximize the utility of existing security tools to correlate disparate information and synthesize data into actionable intelligence.\nDrive agile automation initiatives to eliminate manual inefficiencies across the cyber defense program, implementing technical solutions that directly maximize time-to-mission.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n10+ years of relevant experience\nSubject Matter Expertise in Risk Management Framework\nHands-on experience enforcing information protection policies in an unclassified environment\nExtensive experience in one or more of the following SIEM tools: Splunk. Sentinel, ELK Stack, Crowdstrike\nExperience with Infrastructure and Cloud Security tools including: Terraform/Ansible, Github.\nAt least one (1) of the following cyber security certifications: CASP+ CE, CSSLP, CISSP\nStrong experience with DoD and Air Force Risk Management Framework (RMF)\nProficient with a major cloud services platform, i.e. GCP, Azure, AWS, etc.\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, related field\nU.S. Citizenship with an active Secret or TS/SCI security clearance\n\nDesired Qualifications:\n\nExperience with task management, metrics collection, and status reporting to management\nProficient with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technology\nDemonstrated knowledge/experience in the areas of resource allocation, workload management, and contract management\nAny additional certifications relevant to system and cyber security not previously listed\n\nThe salary range for this position is estimated to be between $145,000.00 - $175,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.\n\nThis position is primarily remote and will require support out of one of the following Dark Wolf Hubs - Herndon, VA; Tampa, FL; San Antonio, TX; Colorado Springs, CO; Ogden, UT; or Omaha, NE.
