The operators, supervisors, and managers who use our tools need interfaces that are fast, reliable, and intuitive—even when network conditions aren’t perfect and the environment is demanding.\nThe Role\nWe are hiring a Sr Full-Stack Developer to build end-to-end features across the Factory OS web and edge applications. You will work from responsive frontends to backend APIs, delivering software that runs both in the cloud and directly on factory-floor edge devices. You will ship features that real operators use every day to run production lines.\nKey Responsibilities\nFull-Stack Feature Development\nDevelop and ship features across web and edge-deployed applications using modern frontend frameworks and backend services\nBuild responsive, intuitive user interfaces for factory operators, supervisors, and managers\nDesign backend APIs and services that support both cloud and edge deployment targets\nShip production-grade systems end-to-end\nEdge + Reliability\nImplement offline-capable and low-latency features for edge environments with intermittent connectivity\nDesign systems that tolerate degraded network modes and factory-floor conditions\nWrite comprehensive tests (unit, integration, E2E) and participate in code reviews\nCollaboration + Platform\nCollaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive user experiences\nContribute to shared libraries, component systems, and developer tooling used across Factory OS\nTroubleshoot and resolve production issues across the full stack\nWhat We're Looking For\n4+ years of professional full-stack development experience, building and shipping real production software\nStrong proficiency in a modern frontend framework (React, Vue, or Svelte) and TypeScript\nBackend experience with Node.js, Python, Go, or a similar server-side language\nUnderstanding of RESTful and/or GraphQL API design\nComfort with relational databases, caching layers, and message queues\nExperience deploying applications to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)\nComfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment\nNice to Have (Not Required)\nExperience building progressive web apps (PWAs) or offline-first applications\nFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or edge computing frameworks\nExposure to manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environments\nGrowth Opportunities\nOwn major product surfaces used by factory teams every day\nGain deep exposure to edge computing and industrial software patterns\nInfluence frontend architecture and developer experience across the platform\nGrow into technical leadership within the application team\nWhy Join Us?\nThis is one of the only places where world-class manufacturing operators, mechanical engineers, robotics researchers, and software engineers sit in the same room — building production systems together.\nWe are committed to being deeply embedded in the U.S. industrial base. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. Foundry Robotics employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval.
