The Engineer will work individually and as a member of a team to configure network, software, and hardware networking components and security appliances and applications to meet DoD requirements and support their installation and initialization onsite in the customers' environments.\n(This is a hybrid role, you must be able to live in or travel to Miami on a frequent basis).\nResponsibilities:\nArchitecting Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) compliant solutions that meet NSA, DoD, and customer requirements.\nWrite standardized system documentation, including configuration guides, test procedures, test results, and training materials.\nProvide onsite training to technical and non-technical users on the daily use, management, and troubleshooting of the solution after installation.\nCollaborate with other operations departments to design approved infrastructure\nServe as the escalation contact during large outages for Tier 2 and 3 systems.\nAuthor network Engineering Design Packages including detailed implementation project plans and procedures.\nConfigures network, software, and hardware components to meet NSA CSfC, NIAP, and DoD requirements\nPerforms network design and systems integration\nDesigns, develops, implements, tests and maintains complex secure communications networks\nConfiguring/managing PKI Certificate Authorities for CSfC solutions\nConfiguring Certificate Authority (ISC CertAgent/MS Windows Server/Red Hat Certificate systems)\nConfiguring firewalls, Intrusion Prevention/Detection systems, vpn gateways, wireless controllers from various vendors (e.g., Aruba, Cisco, Palo Alto, SonicWALL, Juniper)\nDocument configuration, test procedure, results, and training materials\nPreparing test reports and configuration documentation according to customer standards.\nProviding customer on-site training on solution daily use, management, and troubleshooting\nProviding customer on-site solution installation and integration\nManage contractors and vendors during the implementation phase.\nProvide tier 2 and 3 support as part of a technical team.\nIdentify and recommend hardware and support solutions based on research and analysis of new technologies, interfacing with customers and vendors.\nProvide technical expertise to sales engineering teams during complex network developments.\nServes as Systems Integrator for the various contracts within the DoD\nEnhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to the company.\nPerform special projects and other duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications/Education and Experience:\nMinimum of five (5) years relevant experience working with network security platforms in a service provider environment.\n5 or more years of experience with commercial Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and encryption algorithms\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance\nPrior Experience with Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) programs, solutions, and architectures\nMust possess an active Security+ Certification\nProfessional level certifications in either Cisco, Red Hat, Aruba, Palo Alto\nPrior experience with configuring network components, including routers and switches\nPrior experience with configuring security devices and appliances, security information, and event management software\nPossess the flexibility to work in both a team environment as well as independently\nAbility to communicate with technical and business staff alike.\nKnowledge of commonly used ports and protocols\nAbility to develop technical documentation\nAbility to review and develop configuration guides and other customer training deliverable\nPreferred Qualifications/Education and Experience.\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering degree or Information Systems degree.
