Coverage NeededStart Date: 08/03/2026Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shiftsNo night call or weekend callOpen Dates:Aug 3 - Aug 7Aug 17 - Aug 21Nov 23 - Nov 25 (No Thanksgiving 26 & 27)Dec 7 - Dec 11Dec 14 - 18Dec 21 - Dec 23 (No Christmas Eve, No Christmas Day)Dec 28 - Dec 31 (No New Years Day)Clinical DetailsPractice consists of General Anesthesia, OB, Vascular Surgery, Cath Lab, Healthy Pediatrics (down to 6 months of age), Occasional NORA, Basic Nerve BlocksNo CRNA supervisionRequired Cases: Healthy pediatrics down to 6 months of age; major vascular/interventional vascular including AAA repair; cardiac cath lab cases (electrophysiology and structural heart procedures, excluding TEE interpretation); OB including spinal and epidural anesthesia; trauma; regional anesthesia/peripheral nerve blocks; placement of central venous and arterial catheters; difficult intubationPediatric Cases: Pediatric ENT with the occasional urological and orthopedic casePatients (Peds) per Day: 0-2 pediatric cases per dayOB Volume: Occasionally will be called to do a labor epidural and/or c-section; maybe once or twice a week but never more than four to five times a weekCardiac Details: The cath lab cases are both ablations and angioplasty/stents, as well as ICDs, EP studies, and atrial appendage occlusion devices; primarily need interscalene blocks with occasional popliteal and supraclavicular blocksRequirementsBoard Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible (Certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency)Minimum Experience: More than 2 yearsFlu & Covid Vaccination: Required or need medical or religious exemptionCertifications: ACLS (required if requesting conscious sedation privileges), BLSActive IN license, DEA & CSRClean background and no NPDB concernsAvailable for multiple assignments and into 2027
