As a Python Developer, you will join Turnberry's Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market.ResponsibilitiesDesign, code, test, and analyze scripting languages (Python), PHP7 software programs, and MySQL/NoSQL databasesResearch, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production lifecycleScripting server configurations on network IP devicesDevelop scripts to login and server configurations on network IP devicesDevelop scripts to pull and report dataDevelop service group mapping information for highly valuable internal reportsAssist with development of internal APIs using PHP7, Laravel, and MySQLAssist with writing effective user stories and divide the stories into Scrum tasksQualificationsBachelor Degree in Engineering or Computer Science 5-8 years of related experienceThis position is coding intensive, and will require the ability to coordinate well with a team; as well as show personal initiative and take ownership of individual components of the developmentStrong PHP skillsWeb Interface, UI skills preferredOracle, Couchbase, or MySQL experience 2-4 yearsGoLang preferred Ability to work independently and work extremely well in an Agile/Scrum team setting, including cross-functional structure, and varying levels of managementProficient with Microsoft Products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).Expert level in SQL queriesExcellent knowledge of Apache and Linux configuration and command line usage2 or more years systems administration in a Linux environmentThe salary range for this role is $105,000 to $150,000 or the hourly equivalent.
