Job SummaryAs a RN at Mon Health you will coordinate total patient centered care ensuring optimal service to the communities we serve.ResponsibilitiesAssessment: The registered nurse collects comprehensive data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health and/or situation by providing an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care and clinical excellence. Assesses patient documentation for Short Term Disability, Family Medical Leave, Worker's Compensation, and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Works in collaboration with Human Resources and serves as a resource for employee's regarding their health concerns as they pertain to the workplace. Diagnosis: The registered nurse analyzes assessment data to determine the diagnoses or the issues of employees and manages or triages as appropriate.Outcomes IdentificationThe registered nurse identifies expected outcomes for employees and the organization. Participates as an active member of the Sharp's Safety, Environment of Care and Infection Prevention Committees. Planning: The registered nurse develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes. Plans and coordinates the annual influenza campaign and exposure follow-up and education.ImplementationThe registered nurse implements plans and programs such as vaccinations, Fitness for Duty, and pre-employment physicals. Evaluation: The registered nurse evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes through administering the transitional work program and analyzing workers compensation claims for the development of policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with accrediting and governmental standards and regulations. Conducts post exposure surveillance and education.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesLight Work: Frequent Lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs with a maximum lifting of 25 lbs.Effective interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively collaborate with peers, management, vendors, and instruct and educate patients.Education• Bachelor's Degree• Associate's Degree (Required) Substitution: May substitute completion of a formal nursing program in lieu of an Associate's Degree.Credentials• Registered Nurse (Required) Work Schedule: DaysStatus: Full Time Regular 1.0Location: Mon Medical Center Main CampusLocation of Job: WV:Morgantown:Mon Medical CenterTalent Acquisition Specialist: Tara D.
