Job Overview Join AAA The Auto Club Group as an automotive technician. This full‐time, hourly position requires dedication to quality repair and maintenance services for a wide variety of vehicles, including diesel and hybrid models. Responsibilities Perform automotive repair and maintenance on all makes and models, including diesel and hybrid vehicles. Conduct diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire installations, brake services, electrical work, and more. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer needs, building positive relationships, and ensuring satisfaction. Keep up with evolving automotive technologies, ensuring quality and accurate repairs. Collaborate with team members to meet shop goals and contribute to a positive work environment. Training and Development Access to AAA University, a comprehensive and employee‐centric training platform offering ASE prep programs and skill‐building courses. Quarterly advanced‐level continued education programs through vendor partnerships, including training on ADAS, hybrid drive systems, diagnostics and electrical, TPMS, and other advanced topics. Fully funded company ASE program. Compensation Technician hourly rate: $17.00 – $25.00. Weekly pay; closed on Sunday; five‐day work week. Valid driver's license. Minimum of 6 months' relevant experience in automotive repair or completion of a formal automotive training program. Knowledge of automotive and/or truck systems, tools, and technical resources to independently perform basic repairs and maintenance. Demonstrated proper use of equipment and tools, and ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Ability to consistently provide exceptional customer service and improve customer service score. Preferred Qualifications ASE certifications (or equivalents), e.g., A4‐Suspension & Steering, A5‐Brakes, G1‐Auto Maintenance & Light Repair. State inspection certificate, where applicable. AC 609 certification. Work Environment May experience loud noises and odors intermittently in the shop environment. Must have own tools appropriate for skill level for use in the center.
