Outside Vehicle Inspector-RailPrinceton, INJob descriptionOutside Vehicle Inspector-Rail1st and 2nd Shift$18.54hrPosition Summary:Outside position-In all weatherThis position is responsible for all accountabilities of inspection of vehicles on rail cars and on the ground in rail facilities. Inspection responsibilities consist of identifying, evaluating, and classifying damages to the vehicle and recording results using a handheld scanning device.Position Responsibilities:1. Conduct vehicle inspections and record results.2. Daily interaction and communication with customers.3. Perform ongoing process review and improvements.4. Identify and report potential day-to-day operational quality issues and potential improvements.5. Lift up to 25lbs6. Must be able to climb rail carEssential Skills and Experience:Education:Prefer High School Diploma or GED.Training:Training will be provided on the jobSkills:Basic computer skills using Windows based Word and Excel.Nonessential Skills and Experience:1.
