The TPE331 project engineering team is a collaborative, diverse and skilled engineering team and is looking to add to the team with an additional highly skilled team member.Key ResponsibilitiesMajor focus of the job is to author documents for engine maintenance manual (EMM) and overhaul manuals (OHM), inspection/repair manual (IRM), service bulletins (SB), and similar technical documents in support of continued airworthiness of the TPE331 engine models.Interface with cross-functional/international team(s) to plan, execute revisions, and lead activities with TPE331 Technical Publications through task completion.Coordinate with FAA-ODA, Customer and Product Support (C&PS), Repair and Overhaul, and other Engineering departments as required, to ensure technical accuracy.Prioritize legacy publications currently in queue and forecasted manual revisions.Provide updated schedule(s) and track progress to ensure tasks are on schedule and budget.Provide status to internal/external customers and management as required.Manage contacts with customers, suppliers, certification authorities and various levels of *** management as focal point for specific technical publication documents.Additional ResponsibilitiesWork with and drive a diverse, cross functional project team.Escalate effectively with leadership and cross-functionally across the organization.Strong commitment to customer satisfaction.Bias toward creative thinking and innovation in product design and approach to everyday work.Schedule and milestone development/management.Cost and budget management, including estimate development and project planning.Technical requirements development.Project performance and technical execution.Risk/Opportunity development and management.Vendor interface and management of technical requirements.Presenting project plans and status to customers, operators, and internal stakeholders.U.s. Person RequirementsDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status. YOU MUST HAVEBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematicsMinimum 6 years directly related engineering experience in the design, development, manufacture, and/or test of gas turbine engines or similarly complex mechanical systems WE VALUEWorking knowledge of gas turbine engine maintenance procedures preferred.Firsthand knowledge of the TPE331 turboprop engine is a plus.Superior interpersonal and communication skills required to establish constructive working relationships with internal/external customers, and suppliers.Demonstrate ability to work independently and prioritize time and resources effectively.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and manage customers both internal and external.Demonstrated ability to with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization to accomplish technical objectives under strict schedule constraints, including risk assessment, problem solving, decision making, motivation.Ability to investigate broad, complex, and ambiguously defined challenges, rally team consensus around the scope and approach to resolution and lead the team to resolution.Capability to facilitate interpersonal relationships and resolve conflicts tactfully and effectively within *** and externally with suppliers and customers.Ability to promote customer satisfaction with capability to establish strong business and personal relationships with customers and suppliers (internal and external)Ability to escalate effectively with leadership and cross-functionally across the organization.Must be results oriented.
