As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will focus on understanding application needs, creating quality release strategies and guidance, mentoring project teammates on appropriate AWS cloud solutions for business problems, and mentoring fellow DevOps engineers. Additionally, this role helps establish patterns and guidance for architecting applications to be cloud native and releasing work product that enables the organization to deliver at the speed of business.\nThis role will be keenly aware of cloud computing industry and release automation trends to solve technical challenges, and strive to create reliable, secure, performant and cost-effective solutions. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.\nFor External Candidates:\nCandidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE or Lehi, UT.\nFor Internal Candidates:\nAll internal employees, regardless of their current work arrangement (remote or in-office), are encouraged to apply.\n\nIn this role, you'll get to:\nUtilize industry best practices to release cloud solutions with architectures that are secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, and auditable\nProvide systems support as needed\nIdentify and remedy single points of failure and security risks\nMentor new team members\nCreate organizational patterns and practices for secure, automated, repeatable, and resilient releases\nWork side by side with architects, application development, SRE, security, and platform teammates to ensure solutions are released in a sound and responsible way\nCreate and automate builds/releases for applications\nCreate and manage branching and strategies\nWrite infrastructure as code\nAutomate monitoring, alerting, and observability of applications and release health\nWe're looking for talent who:\nIs an AWS Cloud subject matter expert\nHas deep knowledge of git source control and branching strategies\nHas deep knowledge of release and pipeline strategies, with an emphasis on Azure DevOps Pipelines\nPossess ability to deliver cloud-based infrastructure utilizing infrastructure as code (IaC) with tools such as Pulumi and Python\nHas experience with modern development and testing techniques such as CI/CD\nHas experience in agile software development methodology\nHas minimum of a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent and prefer a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience\nHas minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud computing technologies, software development, or DevOps\nPreferably has experience with programming languages, such as Node.js, Java, and .NET core\nPreferably has experience with Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems with an emphasis on automation\nPreferably has experience with Azure\nOwns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization\n#LI-AP1\n#LI-Onsite\n#LI-Hybrid\nSalary Range:\n$94,869.00 - $146,945.00\nThe pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
