You will be involved in all phases of embedded software development, contributing to communication, navigation, and guidance systems.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nParticipate in the lifecycle of software products, starting with planning and gathering software requirements.\r\nDocument software requirements and create software designs.\r\nWrite and integrate software code, primarily using C, into systems and hardware.\r\nDevelop software test cases and procedures.\r\nEngage in significant documentation as part of meeting industry standards.\r\nEssential Skills\r\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.\r\nProficiency in the C programming language.\r\n8 years of experience in embedded software development.\r\nExperience in regulated environments such as Aerospace, Automotive, Telecom, or Medical.\r\nKnowledge of full software lifecycle development.\r\nAdditional Skills & Qualifications\r\nExperience in the Aerospace industry and with DO-178 standards.\r\nFamiliarity with RTOS, Linux, and various operating systems.\r\nMilitary product or military experience is advantageous.\r\nJob Type & Location\r\nThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, IL.\r\nPay and Benefits\r\nThe pay range for this position is $38.00 – $48.00/hr.\r\nEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
