The firm is known for protecting clients’ rights while offering trusted, accessible guidance throughout the legal process.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Paralegal role based in West Jordan, UT. The Paralegal will support attorneys in personal injury matters by organizing case files, managing calendars and deadlines, and maintaining accurate client records. Daily responsibilities include preparing and drafting legal documents, correspondence, and discovery materials, as well as reviewing and summarizing medical records, police reports, and other evidence. The role involves conducting factual and legal research, assisting with claim preparation and settlement demands, and coordinating communication among clients, attorneys, insurance companies, and medical providers. The Paralegal will also help prepare materials for hearings, mediations, and trials and support the office with general administrative and case management tasks as needed.Qualifications Strong foundation in Law, particularly in personal injury or civil litigation, with an understanding of relevant procedures and terminology.Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, settlement demands, and legal correspondence.Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, insurance representatives, and medical providers.Solid Research and Document Review abilities, including gathering facts, reviewing records, identifying key issues, and organizing supporting documentation.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.Proficiency with legal practice management software, document management tools, and standard office applications (e.g., Filevine, Word, Excel, Outlook).Preferred: Prior experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in personal injury or litigation; paralegal certificate or relevant degree is a plus.
