While the role is focused on servicing specific software suites within our custom software portfolio, it is important to work on internal technology projects related to the advancement of the development function.\n\nWhat You’ll Accomplish and Experience\nParticipate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment\nCollaborate with team to design and launch new modules and features based on user needs\nImplement designed web application though planning and developing data sources & APIs, and coordination with front-end developers\nEnsure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions\nWrite well-designed, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to software development best\npractices\nTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues submitted via tickets in a professional and timely manner\nContribute to the improvement of existing software development processes and methodologies\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, and other developers, to deliver quality software solutions\nCreate technical documentation for software designs, coding, and testing activities for future reference\nWork on multiple projects simultaneously and manage priorities effectively\nStay current and provide insight on cutting edge software approaches, architectures, and vendors\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with customers by making their needs a primary focus\nGenerate creative solutions and approaches to issues and organizational processes\nExemplify and promote CCR values\nPerform other duties as assigned\nDesirable Previous Experience\nExperience converting concepts to quality, user-friendly solutions\nProficient experience with several programming languages and frameworks (Python, SQL, .NET/C#, JavaScript, Vue, JSON, HTML/CSS)\nExperience in API design and development\nExperience with Git and common source control patterns (e.g. proper branch management, pull requests)\nStrong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms\nWhy CCR\nCCR is a privately held corporation that was founded in 1986 that provides technology services to large and small businesses nation-wide from our location in Cedar Rapids, IA.
