The candidate should possess strong development, maintenance, support, and troubleshooting skills across core mainframe technologies and work closely with business, operations, and distributed application teams.\n\nPrimary Skills (Must Have):\n\nExperience: 5+ Years\n\nCandidates must have strong hands-on experience in:\n\nIBM Mainframe (z/OS)\n\nCOBOL / Enterprise COBOL\n\nJCL (Job Control Language)\n\nVSAM\n\nDB2 for z/OS\n\nCICS\n\nTSO/ISPF\n\nSDSF\n\nEndevor, Changeman, or similar source control tools\n\nBatch Processing and Job Scheduling\n\nProduction Support and Incident Management\n\nDebugging and Performance Tuning of Mainframe Applications\n\nApplication Maintenance, Enhancement, and Support\n\nRoot Cause Analysis (RCA)\n\nSDLC and Agile methodologies\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nAnalyze, design, develop, test, and deploy Mainframe applications.\n\nPerform coding and enhancements using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.\n\nTroubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.\n\nWork on batch job monitoring and scheduling activities.\n\nCoordinate with business stakeholders for requirement clarification.\n\nConduct impact analysis for application changes.\n\nSupport system integration and user acceptance testing.\n\nPrepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer artifacts.\n\nEnsure adherence to coding standards and operational procedures.\n\nThe pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $35.83/hour - $55.98/hour.
