As well as Vision, Dental, Long term disability insurance, Company paid short term disability insurance, Employee Assistance Program, Tuition reimbursement, and Company paid life insurance.\nEntry Level Chemical Operator responsibilities include:\nRead and interpret batch tickets to identify the correct raw materials in the correct quantities\nPick raw materials from the warehouse and transport to the staging area via fork truck\nAccurately weighing and recording material charges and times on documents and in database (SAP)\nVerify picked materials are correct in partnership with Reactor Operator\nCharge base Polyester Resin and raw materials to blend tanks remotely (from control room) and manually to make finished product.\nLoading finished product into tank trucks, drums, totes and other packaging types. While wearing full PPE (Uniform, Tyvek suit, full-face respirator, hardhat, cut resistant gloves + chemical resistant gloves)\nCharging activities are very physical as batch sizes range from 20,000lbs to 100,000lbs and summer temperatures are high\nClean area after charge and dispose of used packaging to dumpster\nDaily Job Expectations:\nWork safely and follow all policies and procedures;\nAttendance and punctuality\nIdentify and report unsafe conditions immediately;\nCheck equipment for unsafe unusual conditions and correct or report findings to maintenance;\nFollow all site safety policies and wear appropriate PPE;\nPerform daily utility rounds and aide in basic troubleshooting of equipment;\nEnsure that Routine Job Tasks are completed;\nMaintain a clean and orderly work area;\nContinuously focus on teamwork, communication, and doing your best to do a good job;\nParticipate on the Safety Action Committee;\nThis job is not appropriate for individuals with chemical sensitivity.
