Applicants with 5 years of automation experience, who love investigating problems and building custom, customer-focused solutions must apply.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign Electrical Schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.\nDevelop PLC, Advanced Motion, and HMI Programs from scratch for a range of Allen Bradley Controllers, new equipment prototypes and to support assembly area testing.\nDevelop new Standard Electrical Designs for new equipment and implement existing standard electrical designs for standard equipment.\nSupervise Panel Build process in the panel shop and review progress daily.\nDevelop and Integrate Vision Systems for applications including Orientation and Feature Detection using various vision tools.\nReview customer specifications with attention to detail, develop project plans and schedules across multiple departments including sales and applications.\nInteract with customers frequently to review project plans, exchange integration information, and formulate installation plans.\nDevelop Operator Manuals, User Manuals, One Point Lessons, and other project documentation as required.\nPeriodic Travel to customer site for startups, installations or to resolve field issues; this may include new equipment integration with customer equipment and supervising installation electricians.\nCommunicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.\nProficient in electrical design to meet UL requirements\nEnsure local, state, and Federal codes are met.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Technology or related field is required.\n5+ years of hands-on electrical engineering design experience is highly preferred\nAttitude: Ardent desire to succeed as part of a team; interest in contributing to a positive company culture; willingness to persist until the job is done right for the customer and embrace the Morrison “Support Built In” philosophy.\nEngineering and Technology: Proficient knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
