Since we are an early-stage student startup, this role is designed for someone primarily seeking experience and looking to get in early on a startup. As for responsibilities, the Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain core features of the JukeBox platform, with a focus on either UI/UX front-end development, back-end infrastructure, or both. This role can be part-time or full-time depending on availability, and there is an opportunity to progress from intern to a full-time member of the team! Ideally we'd also want students based at Northwestern University, but our team (all of whom are college students) go to universities around the US, so location isn't a big issue.QualificationsStrong foundation in Computer ScienceProficiency in UI/UX development, and/or back-end infrastructureMust know typescript/javascript. Would ideally also be proficient in Java or Python (not required)Front-end Experience: Must know frameworks such as React or Angular (React is preferred).
