Team members have a deep knowledge of our products and sales best practices, with a focus on growing pipelilne and revenue.\nYour day-to-day job will consist of:\nLead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Solution Sales Executives focused on K–12 districts, charters, and state/local education agencies.\nDrive attainment of revenue, pipeline, and growth targets across assigned territory or segment.\nForecast accurately and manage performance through data-driven pipeline reviews and account planning.\nSupport complex, high-value deals by engaging directly with executive buyers and procurement stakeholders.\nPartner with Product and Solutions teams to align product capabilities with customer pain points and roadmap priorities.\nWork closely with Customer Success to ensure strong handoffs, adoption, retention, and expansion opportunities.\nQualifications:\nMinimum Qualifications\nMinimum of 8 to 12 years of relevant and related work experience.\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.\nTravel occasionally, up to 15-20%, for key moments such as team summits, training, customer meetings, company events, etc., with increased frequency during peak periods based on business demands.\nExperience managing and leading teams and managers.\nProven success selling complex, solution-based offerings to K–12 school districts or public-sector education organizations.\nDemonstrated ability to lead teams through long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.\nStrong executive presence with experience selling to senior district and state-level leaders.\nExperience managing forecasts, pipelines, and CRM (e.g., Salesforce).\nPreferred Qualifications\nBackground in education technology, SaaS, or instructional/operational platforms.\nFamiliarity with public-sector procurement processes (RFPs, cooperative contracts, state purchasing).\nExperience scaling teams or building repeatable solution-sales motions.\nCompensation & Benefits:\nCompensation & Benefits\nPowerSchool offers the following benefits:\nComprehensive Insurance Coverage (including Medical, Dental, Vision, Pharmacy benefits, Life Insurance and AD&D)\nFlexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts\nShort-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability\nComprehensive 401(k) plan\nGenerous Parental Leave\nUnrestricted paid time off (known as Discretionary Time Off - DTO)\nWellness Program, including ClassPass & Employee Assistance Program\nTuition Reimbursement\nOptional Benefits: Pet Insurance, Identity Theft Protection, Student Debt Repayment Program and Prepaid Legal coverage\nA reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $141,000 - $198,100 USD plus applicable commission.
