They act as the primary communication link between drivers and customer service, utilizing dispatch software and tracking to optimize routes and resolve issues.Routing and Scheduling: Planning efficient delivery/pickup routes and scheduling couriers.Real-time Tracking: Monitoring shipments and driver locations via GPS systems.Communication Hub: Maintaining communication between operations, customers, and drivers.Problem-Solving: Handling delays, breakdowns, and last-minute schedule changes.Compliance: Ensuring adherence to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards.Technical Skills: Proficiency in dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.
